Restoration of the Wildflower Woods and Tame Garden at the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic site
Gene gardening by lakeshore
Gene Stratton- Porter, best-selling author, naturalist and photographer, purchased over 100 acres in 1912 on Sylvan Lake in northern Indiana and named it Wildflower Woods. Concerned with the loss of Indiana native wildflowers, she was determined to use this land to preserve them. This unofficial blog captures the restoration of the woods and garden at the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historical site.

Love the video with the birds and Singing Waters. Reminds me of work!
thanks:D what kind of bird is that in the video?
I am 99.2% positive that it is a house wren. I went to the garden and heard them chirping but couldn't see them. I checked some birding sites and it fell into the same pitch and pattern. Hope that helps!
